Ultimately, our objective is to maximize shareholder equity by taking into account the specific, and often complicated, needs of our client.

We provide to middle market companies, and smaller, the highest levels of Wall Street advice, analytical support, transactional and negotiating deal experience that the world’s largest corporations routinely rely upon. We offer this to companies often too small to get the attention of a larger investment bank but who nevertheless seek that level of service. We have hands-on knowledge of how to successfully position companies to maximize value.

We offer complete transaction support. We are involved in all aspects of documentation, including confidentiality agreements, term sheets, letters of intent, due diligence requests, preparation of the definitive agreements, loan documents where appropriate and employment agreements. We work closely with our clients, their attorneys and accountants, to coordinate the entire process through closing. Moreover, we take front-line responsibility in the preparation of descriptive memoranda and accompanying financial projections.

In a divestiture or sale process, for example, we perform our own due diligence, prepare a descriptive memorandum, develop projections, analyze profits to recast earnings, look at comparable companies and transactions to develop an opinion on valuation, develop a marketing strategy, prepare a list of potential purchasers, contact those purchasers, maintain a status report, evaluate indications of interest and initial offers, prepare and schedule management presentations, solicit firm bids, evaluate relative value of each, select a buyer, negotiate letter of intent and/or definitive agreement, participate in negotiation of collateral documentation and ultimately work with the company’s attorneys and accountants through the closing of the transaction.

Strauss Capital Partners also offers services to the private equity community and companies seeking to acquire businesses. The services we offer include the identification of target companies, analysis of market position and financial performance, discussions and negotiations with targets, and project management.

At Strauss Capital Partners, we can assist clients in securing growth financing, funding acquisitions, recapitalizations to restructure ownership and/or provide liquidity and in refinancing existing credit facilities. We maintain active relationships with numerous capital sources, including commercial banks, finance companies, private mezzanine groups, private equity and hedge funds, venture capital and investment groups and high net worth individuals. These relationships allow us to efficiently access funding sources for senior term or revolving credit facilities, subordinated debt and mezzanine financing, asset-based financing, including factoring and purchase order financing, and equity.
